Default Stupid question time: is this a good deal?...

I have a '99 LS long block with 43k lined up for me to purchase for $600--does that sound like a resonable price?

My girlfriend's timing belt broke in her '98 with 198k on it--I knew I shoulda changed it!

longblock means has all internals and head... it might not come w/ intake manifold.. but as for the price... i would say that is a decent price for that type of mileage... but IMO i would get papers to see if the mileage is legit... then i would say you got a good deal...

Damn those 500 mile commutes in the morning...

that's a ton of miles for a '98... I thought my '94 was bad with 165k...

but I actually think that that is a pretty good price all factors considered...

It's a good deal if the milage is correct, get the VIN off of the car your getting it from and run it through carfax.

Thanks for all the opinions, dudes. Good call on the car fax report. I'll have to do that in a minute.
