Default Shifter Bag

The bag around the shifter, if thats what its called, is down about an inch from the shift ****. The thing is it can move up so the plastic ring at the end of the bag is flush with the bottom of the shift **** and it looks fine so it leads me to believe it has just come unglued if that is how its attatched. But every other DA ive seen has had the exact same look as mine. Is it this way stock or if it is a common problem, how can i fix it? ill try to get some pics if i can.

dunno if it's stock or not, but you can use a zip tie cinched around the shifter lever beneath and inside the shift boot to hold up the shift boot.
