OK so i got the CEL working now and here are the codes.....

Default OK so i got the CEL working now and here are the codes.....

map sensor code
tps sensor code
vtec pressure switch code
CYP sensor code


so a good friend of mine from on here and local guy (brian saxon) says to flip flop the map and tps sensors and i did, reset the ecu and then fired it up. nothing now it wont even start at all!! saxon is away from aim on aol so i need some help!!!

is it not running now becuase of the CYP sensor or the VTEC sensor or should i flip the TPS and MAP back to the way they were? only thing is now the car wont start like i said but no more check codes for those 2 plugs now - HELPPPPPP

do i need a new dizzy also???

ok now i got the VTEC issue code gone - still car has the MAP and TPS switched like brian said to but wont start but i am still getting the damn CYP Code - he sais i need a new distributor - let me know what you all think

With the cylinder sensor bad, the car won't start. Time for a new distributor.

The ECU can't tell the difference between a bad sensor vs. a broken/unplugged/shorted wire. Otherwise, you need a new distributor because I don't think they sell the sensor by itself.

i redid some wiring to make sure it was ok and it is now for sure as far as i can tell - getting a new dizzy tomm so i guess that will help - any ideas why when i put the map and tps sensor where they SHOULD go the code flashes for both??? but when i flip them around the car wont start, and the codes go away - weird huh??????

hlep me on that one and please pray tomm or sat i get the new dizzy and further more that it works - thanks
