my dumbass left my dipstick out while I was putting in headers and it got thrown away. anyway I was wondering when I go to Honda for the part should I just get the one for the b16a2 or a3 from the USDM del sols or 99-00 Si? same thing right?

also, leaving my dipstick out would that affect oil pressure or anything like that??

 

they all shoudl be the same, go to honda and ask thme if the dipstick is the same for the a2 and a3 which it probably is, and you can just get one of them

 

I compared a 1st gen b16 dipstick to a 95 GSR dipstick and they were identical.
That might give you another option.

and... I wouldnt drive it without one. Ever taken it out right after you turn the car off? The whole thing is covered in oil, and theres a seal right where it goes into that tube on the block. I imagine it'd be a little messy

 

weird..i've been driving for about 2 weeks without one although I did put a little plug in there....crap maybe I don't have any oil anymore.
