I have a water leak and it puddles behind my pass side seat but the surrounding carpet seems to be dry . where could it be coming from?


I also noticed some water in the rear spare area i think its the tail lights.

i ordered new front door seals , F window seals , rear window seals , rear hatch seal

i hope that will solve the leak problem.

If it's the tail lights then you might want to order (tada!) tail light seals! Thats usually where it leaks in the back. And for the back seal, if you have a sun roof, make sure the drain tubes are clear, other wise it's like a fish tank above your head.

i went to the dealer and they told me the seals are part of the tail lights and they done come seperate hence why i dont have tail seals.

No sunroof .

any ideas about the pass side leak?

 

I have the same problem with 1990 hatch, I haven't a clue where its coming from. I keep a spare towel around to sop up the lake that forms on floor of the backseat.
