I did the obdI b18b1 swap in my 93 sol si. I'm running an obdI p75 ecu and the stock d16z6 wiring harness. My cel light is on and to what code, of all the codes it could throw it throws 21, two long blinks and one annoying, in your face short blink. The only thing I have vtec in the car is the wiring harness and the two plugs left over for vtec are just dangeling. Why is my car so confused and how can I get rid of the cel without the aid of black electical tape on my inst. panel? I've reset the ecu multiple times and check, checked, and re-checked the code a million times and to be sure it's right to no avail. It still throws code 21. Any help would be great.

 

are you sure its not code 20 and code 1?

 

2 long blinks, one short. I'd say i'm pretty sure.

 

The ECU doesn't know what VTEC is, it shouldn't be throwing that code...

 

i know thats why I am stumped and irate. Am I mistaken, is two long blinks and one short some other code than 21?
