Default O2 sensors and Test Pipe?

I asked earlier and sombody told me that i only have 1 o2 sensor on my 94 teg RS. So that means that if i get a test pipe, i wont get a check engine light because the o2 sensor is before the test pipe in the header, Right??? Is my thinkin correct??? Thanks.

Well...just to make things less clear, I must add something. I have a 94 GS-R, and my O2 sensor is in my cat, not the header like I have heard it's supposed to be...why is that??? If i remove my cat, i get a check engine light so I would have to get a special test pipe if i were to go that route.

the o2 sensor is before the cat material inside the cat, so it dont matter if you have a test pipe or cat. You can run a test pipe on any obd1 integra(rs,ls,gsr) becuase of the o2 location. On a gsr you need to get the bung in the test pipe cuz the o2 is not on the header, but in an ls or rs you can just get a pipe, without a bung. U will never throw a check engine either.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I was saying. Can you get test pipes with the hole already in it for the 02 sensor??? I've never really researched it.

yah O2 sensor hole in testpipe is needed for 94/95 GSR's. piece of cake because its just like a nut welded on, none of the "honeycomb cat material in an inch long bung" like you need for OBD2 cars. I bought a resonated stainles steel testpipe from Revolutions on groupbuycenter.com for around $75 you can see my kaaaah's underside here --->
