I've got everything out of the way so i can get access to the steering rack but i'm having trouble taking the lines that come from the rack. is there suppose to be a right way of taking it off?
I'm scared that if i try taking the nut off, the line will also move, causing the line to be unusable.
Please help!

Ok, here's what you do.
Step 1: When you tell someone you'll take $1500 for a car that needs the rack changed, you take it.
Step 2: When you decide you could get more money for it if you change the rack first YOU MESSAGE THAT SOMEONE AND TELL THEM THAT
Step 3: When someone pm's you and calls you all week long wondering when they can pick up the car YOU DON'T IGNORE THEM You tell them, "look man, I've decided to change the rack so I can get more money for the car, instead of taking your $1500." The person would totally understand. Then at least you didn't waste their time. Totally ignoring someone after you've verbally accepted an offer is really poor business.
my offer just dropped to $1300, due to the fact the car will probably be more messed up than before you decided to change it.
