It comes unpainted from Comptech right?

yeah, it comes folded in half too.

 

Yea it comes un painted and folded in half,but in my opionion it looks good as hell,not to ricy looks perfect.Some people over due it and there car winds up looking like a space ship. from me.
only difference is i have a 98.

its urethane so they fold em in half to save on shipping

 

yah they bend the tips inwards to touch almost the center of the lip.
like where they meet the wheel wells, that is bent in to touch where your license plate is near.
shipping was like $40. what a RIPOFF for shipping.
but, hey I just went offroading by mistake and the comptech ITR lip I had just bent and didnt break.. cool at least I need new paint on it but no repairs, pheew!

i was thinking of getting one since oem 97 lips are impossible to find...but dam comptech is expensive, plus you have to paint it too

 

Tell me 'bout it. The lip costs something like 220~230. Getting it painted will cost about 100~150 if it's done cheap. And shipping..
All this for one freaking lip!!!

Someone can get the whole oem body kit for 300 though. But I think he only has access to 98~01 oem kits.

 

Damn i thought you were kidding. And yes I'm a jackass for not reading it comes unpainted. You would think the 94-97 kits would be cheaper but nooooooooo. Damnit doesn't Radley Acura have 97 lips?

Where I live the Acura stock ITR chin spoiler is over three hundred with a discount. That does not include color matching or installation. I will be getting the comptech one when I am ready for one.

nope...you have the expensive option with comptech, or the more expensive option from the dealer or a wholesaler for the OEM one.

 

I am also interested in buying a 97 Comptech Lip. Maybe a Group Buy is in order if there is enough interest! Anyone want to set-up a group buy with Comptech? Does Comptech do Group Buys?....

I'd like the comptech icebox, headers, exaust, the rear sway bar combo...etc.

Hey i email those guy(can't remember the company now) about the honda access lip and it's like maaaaad expensive. Like 400-500 buck expensive.
