Default how to figure out what size and gauge piping to use

i'm looking into building a manifold for an h23 and possibly for my b20a5. i'm just wondering what size and gauge i should get for the runners and how i could figure out what size to use for different applications.

Burns has a free design service for headers... You have to supply all the specs, engine displacement, use, rpm range, cam profiles...

What size TUBING not pipe. Plumbers use pipe.
