You have a few options...b18a/b, b16, b20, h22. Take your pic. It all depends what your goals are.

he said 2500 if im not mistaken h22 = 4k approx b20 = 4k approx the b16 = 3500 and b18a/b MAYBE for 2500$ and that if he does or has friends do everything for him all can be done by friends if he has em but h22 are out of reach and b20 is out of reach too...

Wow I dont know where you are getting your motors from but someone is bending you over hardcore.

With that amount of money you could easily get another SOHC Vtec engine and turbo it, B18B, and I'm sure if you looked hard enough you could find some b16a's.

Do you realize you can not just "put" a h22 in?

96 Ex, I'd...

$$250: buy a d16z6 long block (y8's are just notorius for being the oil sucking vampire),
$$750: Eagle rods and JE pistons
$$200: Turbo manifold
$$350: Used turbo
$$200: BOV
$$350: Intercooler
$$150: Piping
$$150: DSM 450cc injectors and crx resistor box
$$150: Uberdata tune

boosting over 12 psi for $$2250, sgives you 250 for whatever else you might need.
Running mid to low 13's in a single cam all day for less then the price of a c1 swap.

But you can't do that! A Z6 is smog ILLEGAL in California! You CANNOT put a OBD1 engine in an OBD2 car, unless you make it an off-road, track only car.

And why in the world would you spend an extra $250 (if you could even find one that cheap) for the Z6 when the car has a Y8 engine? This is the first I have heard that a Y8 is known to be a oil sucking vampire.....
