Championship White R's were made in US model for '97 and '98 only. The Canadian model was White until '01 I believe, as someone stated. I'm not sure where you're located, but I have a black R for sale if you're interested.

Yup, supply and demand at work. Supply is definitely down and demand has been constant. If you wait a few more years, you'll probably sell it for what you can get now (even after driving it for a few more thousand miles.)
But, if someone wants a $20k car, they should rally take a look at the '05 RSX-S. I've gotta say that Honda did a good job on the newest update. :thumbup?

this thread has some useful information to help the guy out, go back to the appearance/costmetic forum where you like to ***** out.
The H-T classifieds are a pretty good place to find decent prices on an R, in fact a friend is currently selling his Champ white, and its cleeeean! https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1021130

Just be persistent in your searching. To find a decent one that hasn't been ragged out, you must be willing to do a little traveling.
Just be patient and if you have an reservations about a certain seller/car keep looking.
Carfax is not conclusive enough for me. It just covers two main things: ownership history and whether or not the car has a clean title.
