beware of XxRoCkMaNxNEOxX
I bought a turbo off of this guy from this thread. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1024040
I called dibs on the turbo knowing how fast they go on here, and this seemed to be a pretty good deal. I pm him with a couple generic questions about the turbo. Never, even though he was asked told me of any problems the turbo had. I receieved the turbo with the compressor housing bolts stripped and damage to the compressor housing due to the wheel rubbing. He would not refund the money even though i offered to pay shipping back.......rather he suggest that i just resell it to resolve the problem.
Purchased turbocharger from seller off of a Honda related web forum. The seller when asked did not tell me about any problem with the turbo. I received the turbo on Saturday the 23rd of October. Upon opening the package everything seemed to be fine. Tuesday the 25th I have a chance to really take a look at the turbo, and closer inspection reveals that the shaft of the turbo rubs the turbo housing and has left considerable damage. Also 4 bolts that hold the housing on are stripped causing the housing to become crooked, which probably led the the contact the wheel was making with it. When I discovered this I confronted him about it and this is our aim conversation log.

matthew133795: it seems to me that you got screwed on the turbo, and instead of getting your money back and returning it you just passed it on the next person to let them deal with it

matthew133795: you know im not trying to jump out and accuse you of scamming me, but when you spend 360 bucks on a turbo that is SUPPOSED to be in perfect working order. and you get it and its hard to spin the shaft and some bolts are stripped and there is no way its going on a car in the condition it is then you get a little pissed
matthew133795: then i ask about it and you say its sat for a year and you never used it so your not sure of its condition, when that was never mentioned in the ad or when i talked to you about it

matthew133795: the box wasnt crushed when i got it. and it would take a pretty good blow to do that, and the fedex man must have ran it on his car for a while with the compressor wheel like that and thats how the rub marks got there

AZ Acura22: not really, because the turbo itself should spin freely, somewhat, even though its not ball bearing. It should not have any dragging at all
