Default LEAN

Hi guys,
I have an 87 teg with a 92 zc motor.
A month ago I ran it at the track and it pulled low 16s. This week I ran it again and it could not break 16.8. Felt lazy in 3rd gear. Pulled the plugs and saw that they were white.
What could be causing this prob. I have a new walbro external fuel pump in it(4 months old) but the plugs are a bit old(iridium). Tom. I am checkin fuel pressure, can u guys recommend any other checks to do.
