Default LS-VTEC oil line which is best set up?? Guess would work on Turbo also....

Ok seen several different set ups for oil lines. Golden Eagles Sandwich adaptor, directly off the oil pump (guess you take the brass hex head bolt out) and the ol skool where it comes out at the oil pressure sensor with a T fitting.. Want to know the disadvantages/advantages for the first 2. I know the major downfall of the ol skool way.....the T snaps in the block...been there done that don't want that to happen again.

I wish I had pictures of the oil distribution block I made. I'll try to remember to bring it hope and get pics.

I took a 2" square piece of aluminum, drilled a T through it, drilled a mounting hole, tapped and threaded and put in AN fittings. The braided lines went from the back of the block to my distribution block and on to the head. Then I installed the oil pressure switch in the other part of the T in my block. No breaky and rather trick looking, I thought.

the dis. of the old skool way is, besides the t breaking off and stuff is also loosing oil pressure.
the ge sanwich thing seems to be the best since you wont loose any pressure and your feeding clean oil to vtec.

i have never tried the oil pump output thingy

yea, im looking at the Golden eagle vtec conversion too. I have one questions. the GE oil line goes from the sandwich adapter to the head. Now when im running my turbo supply line, i know it goes to the turbo, but where does it originate from, the block? where ? pics if anyone has them please

i have a problem like this too we got b20vtec turbo and the oil line to the turbo is just "T'd" to the vtec line is that why my vtec isnt kicking in??? cuz of all the oil going to the turbo and the lack of pressure?

where can we get these? m boys b20/vtec turbo wont engage and we think most likely is a pressure problem.

The ls/vtec line that I offer (www.stealthmodeperformance.com) uses a custom made fitting with 1/8bspt male threads going into the oil pressure sender port, the same female threads off the back for reinstalling the oil pressure sensor, and two 1/8 npt female ports off the side. (It comes with a block off if you are only using one port)

Here's what the block fitting looks like installed.

For the one question regarding the vtec not having enough oil pressure because of the turbo feed, here is a restrictor valve that we offer which fits in between the block fitting and the feed line. (also used for fine tuning the pressure to turbo)

Here is the picture of it installed.

I have also heard the stories of people cracking T's off in the block, but I haven't had any of my customers have a problem with this fitting.
Just another option for ls/vtec / turbo.

This fitting works on all B, D, and F series motors. The T has two outlets for any two purposes you can think up. I offer these parts in the kits that sell, but the individual block fittings can be purchased from our friends at http://www.tunertoys.com
That's my provider, and he is more equipped to handle the block fittings rather than the whole kit.
