Saw someone with a pressure gauge mounted right on the end of their fuel rail...searched and found a few people claiming to have them but no explination whether custom'd or special fitting.

I tried with my B&M but removing the dead end nut on the fuel rail leaves 2 male bolts (fuel rail bolt and B&M gauge bolt) and no way to mate them.

Who knows what's up with this.

the b&m gauge i bought came with a specail BANJO bolt to mount it on top of the fuel filter(the service bolt). there are a couple after market rails you can buy like AEM, they have holes drilled and theared in them to mount fuel pressure gauges..
if you dont want to go after market and still bent on putting your gauge on the rail, yank the rail and drill a hole on the top of it inline with the main journal, punch the hole in to the main journal then tap it out... presto fuel gauge on fuel rail... make sure you get ALL the metal shavings out of it or youll screw up your injectors or pressure regulator, or something important like that.

 

when i went with my aeromotive fuel regulator, the hole where the b&m regulator went, the hole between the 2 10mm's drill it out to a 21/64ths, then tap it with a 1/8 npt then the gauge will thread in. thats what i did with my vortech rail and VDO gauge. i am bored ill go get a pic with the camera phone. he hee. this was my first attempt at using my camera phone.
