passenger side frame rail mount, need help asap.....

passenger side frame rail mount, need help asap.....
hey, so my car so has been acting weird lately, it's making weird noises on the passenger side by the tranny, i popped my hood and the mounting thing that hooks to the frame rail is cracked all up, has anyone ran into this, do i just try and weld it or should i cut it off and go get a new one.... any help would be appreciated
maybe this pic will help everyone.....it is also cracked a little bit on the backside......
