i just went to the junk yard and picked up a set of 4 injectors. they are supposodly out of a first gen turbo eclipse. i thought that they were supposed to be blue top. the ones that i picked up are yellow topped. they measure 3 1/8 of an inch in length. the part number on the injector itself is INP-063. i want to know what size these are and if they are in fact turbo injectors. pics will be up when i get home after work. any help would be appreciated

i work @ a parts store, i called a few places to get some information on the injectors and the guy i talked to said that they are 50 mL injectors, which is the same as 50CC, now that cant be right, any ideas?

First Gens were blue tops, second gens black tops. There were also grey top 390cc injectors. Yellow tops? WTF are those.

 

yea i dont think that yellow tops are big dsm injectors...

yellow tops are from earlier non turbo's like, 210 or 220cc i belive, there was sombody selling some on here not to long ago, a set of pink tops and yellow tops, one was 210 one was 220

edit: searched, couldnt find the thread, maybe im mistaken but im pretty sure i saw it, maybe somebody else knows

 

You lucked out the yellow top at 550cc!
Mine friend just bought a 4g63 cyclone engine it came with the yellow injectors, some where on the top in the yellow will be the CC rate too, so just look on it and it will tell you

came on EVOLUTIONS and GALANTS i think

Yup, I remember seeing this FS thread. He's right, they're 240's or 210's (something around there, anyway)

 

yellows are 510cc

1g and 2g turbo both have 450cc injectors. JDM 4g63 came with yellow top 510cc injectors.

TDO4 (written on the compressor housing) Tiny turbo from an Auto Tranny car. Same motor, tiny turbo and manifold.

TDO5-14B: All the vanes on the compressor wheel will be the same size. Injectors will be blue (450cc).

TDO5-16G: The vanes on the turbo will be alternating big/small/big/small. Injector color is still blue (450cc)

Big 16G: The vanes on the turbo will be alternating big/small/big/small. Injector color is yellow (510cc)

 

can anyone verify this with a part number?

 

i couldnt find the car they came out of in the junk yard.... im leaning towards these injectors being the 210s. they have a number on the opposite side of the part number and its like MDH210 or something...

 

If they are from a junkyard, they are not going to be the JDM 550s. definatly non-turbo injectors.

Wow..I grabbed a set of yellow top dsm injectors and im pretty sure they were smaller than the oem honda ones since I had to jump up my fuel map alot to make them work.. On a side note they were also saturation injectors..

What are the numbers on your injectors.. Ill look on mine to see what they are..

I got 2 sets of dsms injectors from non turbo eclipse,

The pink top ones are DSM 240cc,
The yellow top ones are DSM 210cc

if you look at the side of the cap and look for the number, you can see if its 210, 240, 390, 450
