Default hatch 94 dx

hey whats up i have a question
first is how 2 i become a member and not just a trial user on this site lol
and second

my hatch 94 DX makes this ticking sound when i tur it off sometimes and 2day i think i heard it while i was driving not sure though
i turned off the car and heard it then went back on the read and at a stop i think the ticking was still happening
at first i thought it was my friends car cuz he was right next 2 me but then i knew that it was mine when he left
anyway can someone please help if u have any idea what it might b thanx alot

Ok, not sure, but my old Ford had a ticking sound coming from the catalytic converter.... to check it just get down and find the click or as close as u can get to the click, then take a wrench and put it on whatever could be makign the click, you will suddly feel it in the wrench... VERY SUddLe

The ticking noise when u turn it off is due to the metals cooling down. Every car does it.
