I was thinking about getting a Chargespeed lip for hatch with EF9 front, I was under the impression that the only lips available, the Chargespeed and J's would ONLY fit the EF8/EF9 front ends.

I decided to contact Chargespeed directly and their rep informed me that they offer lips for both the EF8/EF9 bumpers as well as 88-89 USDM bumpers!!!

This distributor is located in Pasadena i believe, I'll get his email address for you guys, he quoted me at $250 for the lips for either the JDM or USDM. just thought I let you guys no so you can flame and correct me if i'm totally wrong.

 

no love for 90-91??or are they the same thing. i dont know i know for sure the bumper lights on the 90-91 are longer but i dont know if the bumpers itself are different

i contacted the company this morning that had them for $215 on groupbuycenter, maybe we can get together our own group buy and lower the price on these bad boys.

88-89 and 90-91 have diff bumpers the 88-89 lip would be to short for the 90-91 bumper

 

is it a fc lip or is it a plastic piece? 215 sounds like it might be a cf lip...i'm interested in either type

 

I'm down for a group buy for one of these lips. keep the info comin' I'll be watchin'.

WTF no 90-91 lip? thats so gay

 

it does suck, just swith to 88-89 bumpers and moldings...

 

I still haven't heard back from them verifying whether they really have them for USDM fronts...waiting on email reply
