Default 2001 Accord all gauges dropping to zero

I've got a '01 Accord EX bought new and just the other day the all gauges(speedo, tach, fuel, and temp) dropped to zero for ~1/4 second while driving down the highway. The maintainance light has been blinking like it wanted attention upon ignition and blinked when the gauges dropped. I didn't reset the light and swapped out the battery and same symptoms... Stealership said the alternators on this generation are notoriously bad and usually die about 70K(I'm at 72K).

Any ideas or previous experience greatly appreciated.

Check the error code. Should help quite a bit.

The CEL doesn't come on, only the maintainance light. I thought I needed a CEL for any codes to be present?
