I LOVE it!! In fact, I've tried to have s3x with it once. I just wish I let it cool off a little before doing so.

And the Apexi n1 muffler is loud.

Apexi ws has a quieter/deeper tone to it.

Running no-cat, just a test pipe or resonator will usually
give you a raspy fart cannon sound.

I know from experience, mine kinda sounds like a dirt bike.

I'm going to be modifying my exhaust set-up this winter.

I'll most likely be running the dc header w/2.5 collector mod,
k-teller flexpipe, carsound cat, 2.5 mandrel bent piping to a
n1 muffler

^ where's the quad muffler setup?

more info on my old setup

Test Pipe + 2.25" + AC Revolution Muffler = LOUD

same setup + resonator = much better! but as for performance gains, the almighty butt dyno claimed a power loss in the top end with the resonator

Stock Cat + stock exhaust = stock, what else did ya expect?

if i ever plan on modding my car again, my setup:
- Header w/ 2.5" collector
- 2.5" Test Pipe
- Kteller Piping
- Unsure on the muffler, i wanted to actually have the look of the stock exhaust though.

Also you can get rid of the fart cannon sound with a resonator, all those people with test pipes. YOU DONT HAVE TO LIVE WITH THE DIRT BIKE SOUND!!! get a resonator. if that doesnt do it, get another.

I use the 5zigen fireball exhaust on my setup (straight through 3" piping, no cat). It's not raspy or ricey loud, it's very deep, and when I idle at a stoplight, I have the mustang put-put-put sound.

Actually I already have a resonator, I believe a high-flo cat will
help eliminate the sound the best

I run the Apex N1 and yes it is a very loud exhuast. Does ok if you don't floor it but when you do and hit vtec it will scream at whomever is behind you (or to the side since mine angles out).
