The auction says it is a mugen spec chip...whatever that means, Im not into the Imports like crazy but I was wondering if this would help my little 2.2 out or not?? It says it lowers the Vtec to 2500 and redline to 8000... Is this true? Does it actually reprogram the computer for more fuel and different spark curves?? Any comments welcome! Thanks for the Help!!!!

It's a fake chip. Most likely a resistor. Mugen doesnt make performance chips, and eBay and Mugen are trying to crack down on this type of thing.

It wont do anything to your car, and if it lowered VTEC to 2500 rpm that would be crazy and bad. Very bad.

 

Chips on accords are generally bogus.

vtec engagement point is variable on the the f22b1 anyway... im sure you could get it to come on at 3.5'ish if you had enough load in your favor. anyone with a little led hooked up got a pic? lol

 

look at the guys feedback, 98% of people who dont know anything bout cars leave good feedback, the ones who do know something leave bad feedback cuz its a crap chip and he retaliates by doing the same
