checked the dipstick and it looks like this... is it normal?

It concerns me you're asking... If you take a picture, host it, and post it here, it means you suspect something might be wrong. Why not save time and just look at your owners manual or the Helms... Yeah, everyone starts from somewhere, but if having NO oil on the dipstick doesn't mean anything other then, "I think I'll post a picture about this" then you should have someone else take care of the car.
