I have used Nokian Hakkapeliitta Q's for the last 4 years on two different cars and give them a

Bridgestone Blizzak LM-22. If you go through http://www.tirerack.com, you can buy a winter wheel/tire set at a reasonable price.
Or, if you only want the tires, check with your local Costco store. They have great prices.

I had some Nokian Hakkapeliitta Q's as well and they were great but one of them developed a bubble so I replaced them with Nokian WRs last winter and they're great also. Some people might think it's overkill since we don't get much snow in the Washington DC area but oh well...

I like my Blizzak's. Then again, as long at they're M+S rated, they're better than my summer tires. I found mine cheap, with wheels, from a guy that was using them on his S2000. (16", 205-50R16. Wrong height, oh well.) Longest any set of tires have lasted on my car, and they were $200 with wheels.

Actually, my new favorite snow tires are free snow tires.

Thats what I run in the winter. They actually arent too bad on dry traction, and in snow they rock.

Ditto, the LM-22 blizzaks got me through some of the worst snow in the past 2 years. They also have a higher speed rating so they drive and handle better than most snows.

It is good to see someone else from the philly area with an R. I just sold my second one about a month ago and miss her dearly. That is without a doubt the best car I have ever driven. When I sit in an integra I feel so at home like honda used me as their model for fitment. I LOVE DC2"s.
Good luck with your R. Good choice by the way.

I got these just sitting in my garage. Only used for 1 winter. I see you are from Philly. I am only an hour or so away. I would be will to meet up anf save you cash from buying new wheels and rims.
I will do 225 for the tires, steelies, Accord wheel covers, and lug nuts.
the tires are Artic Alipines.

I am sure some of the Philly crew can vouch for me.
