Spoon Rotors?
Are the Spoon Sports Type-R rotors compatible with BB6 Preludes? I know that the calipers are compatible. If not, what rotors might you recommend? I would prefer slotted rotors ONLY that are lightweight and slightly larger in diamater.
Robert,
The 97+ ITR's and 97+ Preludes share the same front calipers and rotors. So, anything that will fit a 97+ ITR will fit a 97+ Prelude. As far as lightweight alternatives to the rotor, Fastbrakes sells front rotors w/ aluminum hats, that weigh considerably less than stock pieces. They are however, very pricey.
Another note, you really wont save that much weight by using slotted vs. solid rotors, you'll get slightly better pedal feel, but thats about it. All in all, your better off getting a solid Brembo blank.

Go with Advance Auto. 25$
Two-year warranty.
They get worn and you take them back and they replace then for free.
I lot cheaper than Brembo and (personal opinion) they work just as good with the right pads.

Thanks Hubert.
I was actually requesting slotted rotors, as opposed to cross-drilled rotors, for their increased strength and durability.
Thanks everyone for your replies. When the time comes (hopefully it won't be too long!), I will consider your advice.
