Sounds like you bought an ECU from an OBD-1 car which has 3 plugs.
OBD-0 only has 2 plugs and you would need a jumper/conversion harness to make the OBD-1 ECU work.

it has three plugs but one is smaller. theres also same amount of wires to each connector but the clip is differant. the computer is for a 92 ls intgra.

Ok - you're right.
Here's some helpful info to diferenciate between OBD-0 and OBD-1
If you count the pins in the plugs and find the plug that has the MOST pins in it -
(I'm counting <U>available</U> wire spots - with or without all the pins.. just like they count them in the manuals)
OBD-0 has 20 (and the other two are a 18 and an 16 pin)
OBD-1 has 26 (and the other two are 16 and 22)
