USDM engine question

Default USDM engine question

noob question but just wondering what USDM honda engine will bolt right into a 19990 CRX Si. Thanks!

also there is a function botton called SEARCH feel free to use that function first... FYI so that you dont get flamed or called a noob...

any 88 and up d-series motor will bolt-in..
Wiring and accesories are a different story..
But they are bolt-in..

what ecu would I need for the D16Z6? I think that's a 92-95 civic ex engine.

thanks dude. just got teh car over the weekend and i'm trying to learn more about it. a friend of mine recommended me to this site.

Either get an obd0-obd1 jumper harness and a obd1 ecu(p28 is the best for a d16z6) and add the extra wire for vtec...

or stay obd0 using ur stock ecu and dizzy..dizzy wont fit without hacking though and you'll need an external vtec controller..(vafc.or msd switch..or tach light etc.)

there is also a engine called mini-me ... a combination of your d15/d16 block (bottom end) and a z6 vtec or y8 vtec head on top...
