have you talked to your neighbors yet? i will assume there was no alarm on the house. not sure if you lived in the neighborhood for awhile or if that is a new home but it sounds like they were casing the house and new you would not be home. and is more than one person with a large car or truck, or van. see what your neighbors have seen lately

good luck hopefully prints were taken, and something will pop up on the police database.

i guess those nosy old man and lady across my street can come in handy...once again goodluck

sorry to hear about the lose. not to point fingers, but most likely it was someone you knew. they knew you was out that weekend, knew what you had and where it's at.

hope the insurance's going to take care of you.

Yes, let's homogenize the ENTIRE city because of one guy's post about **** unfortunately getting stolen. My parents live in Sac, and their area hardly has any crime. I think the worst offense was a couple of months ago when some guy was booked for public drunkenness leaving a bar.

Anyway, sorry to hear your stuff got stolen. That's fucked up. Hope your **** gets recovered. I can't imagine what it's like to lose $20K worth of tools plus other items.

Sorry about your loss man...I know exactly what it feels like to have your house broken into, im sure your gonna want to invest in an alarm now...it sucks how something bad always has to happen for someone to invest in a security system...Good Luck!

Nor cal is not as bad as any other, I have lived in Sacramento for 19 yrs almost 20 yrs. and never had I once gotten my house broken into, infact my family had times where we would leave for a week, and the person taking care of our hosue would leave the door open all night, we would come home and find it this way. Still, no one ever stole or broken anything in it. Sacramento is not any worse than lets say LA or any other town.

A good advice for the future is to get to know everybody in your neighborhood and make a small bond.

By the way it totally sucks, I have gotten my beat up car broken into for the thief to find that the car was junk. Ha, stupid.. It was also a neighbor in my new neighbor hood. Than I moved again. But i never left Sacramento.

20k is lame, I could just imagine if it was me, oooooo kill them all!!

you are still a trial user and you are already posting racist things like this? at this rate you are going to **** A LOT of people off dude.

jeffchaisi, i cant believe how they tagged those things in your house such as "**** you." like the other guys said, this sounds like an inside job where someone knew that you were gone.

do you have any shady neighbors? i have seen situations before where the neighbors are the ones to watch out for...
