4th gen headlight conversion on 5th gen lude?
Anyone try this or have seen it done? I would have posted this in the appearance forum but aparently I don't have access. I think this would accentuate the rear lights very nicely. I did a search, didn't see anything. Anyone out there with photoshop wanna take a try at giving me a visual? I've never heard of it being done and might be something worth doing, financing permiting of course.
I've seen a photo of one done before. Pretty good looking I thought, and one of the nicest show ludes I'd ever seen. Not cleanest, but neatest. Someone here will find the pic for you, but be prepared to hear some "oh that **** is too ricey" remarks. Not about the conversion, but the other styling decisions that were made. It was on the cover of Import tuner. It was yellow. Ya'll know the one.
That was a S14 Silvia front end, but it's damn close to a 4th gen Prelude. I'd drive it, but at least half of the stickers would have to go.

Actually its a JDM Integra headlight conversion, but without all the stickers and wing that looks pretty badass to me. Something to consider...

that type or body work and conversion would cost some serious money. I had my fenders, front bumper, rear bumper, mirrors repainted for 800 bucks. imagine having to re-do the entire front end, color match everything plus fab work. lol few grand goes bye bye
if you were going to go through with all of that body work, i'd get something a lot better looking than 4th gen or integra headlights. put some kind of bmw headlights that already have the projectors built in. as long as they aren't as tall and skinny as the stock ones it will look better. i personally think it would look best with s15 headlights. but i'd never spend the money to have that done unless i was really really rich, and my car was running at least 11's..........but that's just me i guess.
I agree, that car looks SWEET, but I actually like the way my 5th gen's headlights look. Gives the car more character than most others on the road and is a distant shout- out to the 2nd/ 3rd gens.
