Default Just Chiming in.

Well, there comes a time in life when one must announce his/her entrance to the forum of their choosing!
Anyway, as you can prolly see in my profile, I own a GTi now...I don't hate it...but VWs arent my thing as I have recently discovered. after the tranny FINALLY went on my first prelude I looked for another one but couldn't find one that was in my price range at the time...so I went with my second choice the GTi.
Why am I joining this forum if I have a VW? because I simply am going to trade it in for a prelude =p that's why...things are a bit different financially now so I can do that!
Ok that's pretty much all I wanted to say...I don't know If anyone cares but oh well
Oh and yes...I know how to search and what not...so don't worry.

P.S. For anyone that wanted to know...Ive read things in this forum before and I tend to see this question pop up alot....
YES you can beat a 1.8t GTi Stock VS stock give or take intake and exhaust.
You'll prolly catch it in 4 or 5th considering my friends damn near stock 99 Civic Si caught me in fifth like he hit nitrous. He told me his VTEC kicked in at 6300 RPMs?

Welcome! I'm a former VW owner (91 GTI 8V, 98 GTI VR6, 93 Corrado SLC VR6, and 97 Audi 1.8T Quattro). I miss instant torque, but I do not miss instant visits to the mechanic/dealership.

Let's face it though, with a chip and exhaust, the 20V GTI will rip past a Prelude in a straight line (until it's time to turn)

Welcome and good luck.
