you are looking at anywhere from $500-1000 in parts, and if you do it yourself, free labor...yes, it is worth it...

 

How much labor are we looking at to swap H22? the engine is about 2 to 3 Gs shipped.

 

if you are looking for a cheap reputable shop, it would cost you around 700-1000 dollars for a swap, depending on where you are, but the swap is pretty straightforward, so if you want to save a grand, i suggest you try it yourself.

 

how do you know what kind of transmission options there are for the 99 ex v6?

I believe the TL and the CL from the same model year swap. The TL i know for sure has the same engine as the AV6. You should probably ask in the other honda/acura forum.
