Default Safe to run NOS ?

Guys i need opinions, i want to be able to use Nos safely...i just dont no wat is needed to do this...i looked in performance section couldnt find anything...

I got:

AEM CAI
Greddy Headers
Greddy Evo Exhaust
AEM fuel rail
AEM Cam Gears

I was thinkin about gettin:

ITR cams - titantim springs and retainers
ITR Head
JE pistons
ITR rods

or

Port Polish GSR head
Skunk 2 cams - titantim springs and retainers
JE pistons
Crower Rods

What u think would benefit me the most, still takin into consideration, will be daily driver, so i need it to run like stock...nice and smooth. lol

What do u think...

your power at the wheel, divide by 2, and shoot at that.......thats what i've always done it......but really...Nitrous is no safe way out....wheather its 50 or 100 shot....sooner or later your engine will give up on you becuase of the wear and tear from nitrous. And it all depends how often you use it, i guess

safest bet would be sleeved block, forged internals, aftermarket ignition, fpr. those mods will help with reliability, but are still no guarantee. i've run as high as a 150 shot and my motor is 3 years old and still runs strong with good numbers on all cylinders. good luck.

I would check with harry, make sure though that you run the spoon engine, with the t66 turbo and the motec exhaust.
j/k....there are so many threads on this, just check around....I typed in "safe nitrous" and found a lot of threads covering this.

i just dont know how much better JE are the ITR's i mean i wanna run in the 13s (some day) thats the only goal, but i want them to be able to handle NOS, so i figured JE pistons and compression, wow, i have no idea, lol, im reading and reading, tryin to learn, jus seems like i end up stumped not knowing what to get each time

mine are custom JE's. they are only 10.5:1 c/r and are 84mm. the benefit of JE's over the ITR's is that they are forged and are available in many different sizes and c/r's.

i was building an all motor set-up that would be nitrous friendly. that is why i bored the block and went with forged internals. if you are gonna build your bottom end anyway, why not have it make more power without the bottle? i'm pushin almost 200whp n/a and over 300whp on the bottle. not too bad for a daily driven street car.

With out the new stuff nitrous can help alot. Im not sure how much compression does the je boosts but with the stock gsr pistons, squeezing 65 shots would take u a far ways.
With the skunk 2 's and je pistons I believe the compreesion should raise, i would retart timeing.

a shop will have to bore the block, then install the oversized sleeves, then hone it. make sure you find a good machine shop to do the work, or you'll regret it.
