Default Tar Spots on my PAINT!!!!

they just paved my street and I have little microscopic black dots on the sides of my car. Pretty much is jus ton my doors.

I tried tar and bug remover and it worked but took forever to get the dots off and i got alot more to go... any advice?

and yes only i would ever notice them... but on my yellow paint it drives me crazy. gotta keep her looking nice.

Dupont No. 7 Bug & Tar Remover.
Smell like Kerosine but works wonder.
Paste like bug and tar are too weak.

I have 12 gallons of Xylene sitting in my garage, I'll let you borrow a quart.

But really, Solvent-based stuff will work the fastest.

And, yes I was kidding, but Armor All 7 Tar and Bug Remover spray is 18% Xylene, the rest is naptha and petroleum gases. (methane/butane/propane???)

alot of the products mentioned are extremely bad for you paint and clear coat... spend 10 bucks at a car parts store... ask for the "clay magic" clay bar kit... its very simple to use and is made to remove all contaminates from paint...

just spray, then use the clay bar on the "area needed" and you wont belive the wonders, it takes out OVER SPRAY, BUG ****, TAR, SCUFF MARKS FROM OTHER CARS, TREE SAP, .... just make sure you wax the area you use it on afterwards then you are done.

also works good for taking off the shoe polish off your windows from the track

i don;t have a problem with the shoe polish that always comes off easy.

But i mean this stuff is alll over my door. Can i spray the whole door and wipe it off without spending 3 hours doin this?
Or would you reccomend i just spend $120 and get her detailed and let the company compound it off?

I just am suprised that it will be that fast because the dots are sooo small and spaced apart. and all over the place lol.

I will try it though. 10 bucks is cheap if it works that well.

haha so now a potentially 6 hour project has gone down to a 5-10 mins project with clay. But then goes back up 2 hours for wax..... there goes my monday afternoon!!

o well if i feel ambitious tomorrow i might take some pics and post them for you guys to see. However, i may need to clean the engine bay. Maybe i just wont take a pic of that........

bro after you use the caly bar just wax that area... or even the whole car....

i dont know about you .. but i can thouroghly wax my whole ITR by hand in 1 hour...

but remember all you have to wax is the area you used it on... unless you want to wax the whole car... ]

not for nothing .. but your making it a bigger deal than u need to... just wash it, clay bar it, then wax that area. should take you 30 minutes...case closed.
