Trying to get rid of Indiglo Gauges, need help!!
My doesn't work anymore so I figured I'd trash them rather than buying a new set. The only problem is that I super glued them down so there is glue on my original faces. Can I buy those black original gauges or what should I do?
I dunno, but if you get it from a dealership, they'll probably rip you off.
I'd say try the junkyard near your place, or get the white gauges from nr. They'll cost you about 120 new and it will replace the whole gauge rather than the average indiglo gauges which you just place it on top.

NR is the brand name. NR automotive. I have them in my GS-R and I love em. If I knew how to post a pic on here I would....I can email it to you if you want.
try goof off to get the glue of... And WHY the *** did you ever glue them down, use 3m double sided tape or hey maybe the screws on the stock ones. that is if the bezel didn't hold them down good enough..
Well, I ******* glued them down because double back tape didn't hold and caused the needles to drag!!! And yes, I even used the double back tape that is really thin like scotch tape. And as a matter of fact there aren't any screws in my factory gauges. So next time you're trying to help at least have a clue as to what you're talking about!!!

They're actually white and not that crappy yellowish look. Just a bad pic. And as you can see, it will replace the whole gauge face.

I know, you can go to their website and view them. I just enjoy posting pics in threads.

Thanks for posting those pics, It just gave me an idea. I just installed my NR white guages and while I was tinkering around in there I noticed that the guage cluster is backlit by 2 or 3 bulbs with a green plastic shell around them. I'm wondering if anyone has tried taking the green shells off the bulbs and letting the backlight shine white like it looks in the picture. I'm not sure I like the green backlight shining through where the mileage meter is and around the needles along with the blue of the rest of the guage. Has anybody tried this yet? It looks like NR already did in that pic.
You could take off those plastic things. They're just for protection, but i doubt it will make a big of a difference without it.
Too bad I don't have a digi cam. Anyways, you can replace those three bulbs behind the gauge cluster. It's a simple process. Heck, it's not even a process. You just get three 194 wedge bulbs. You can put in different color bulbs. Some say rice, others say otherwise. Red, blue, hyper white...etc. Don't get amber. They look like crap.
Someone said that raybrig hyper whites give you the lexus look. I haven't tried it yet. Either way, if you get an aftermarket bulb, it will definitely be brighter.
You might find some pics if you search for "guage cluster". Notice gauge is spelled wrong.
I just put in red bulbs and those bulbs light everything red. More of a dark bloody red....The needles turned red too.
