Headlight Bulb Size H4 or 9003

Hey guys i searched and somebody said a 9003 for a 99 civic. Howerever I looked on 2 websites, one said 9003 and one said H4. Does anybody know the correct one. It is too late and raining do I don't feel like going ou tto look.

i got a 96 and I have 9003 and so do my friends. so im about 95% sure. I never heard of H4.

H4 is 9003. there exactly the same.

Thanks I never knew that. I just remember people saying the stock fogs and headights were the same, but then again they said the fogs were H4's and the headlight swere 9003's. It all makes sense now.
