Default Ordering parts off e-bay?

I know this is more of a performance forum, but I was wondering if the cheap (low-cost) stuff on ebay are really cheap (bad quality).

I just got a 92 Accord LX a few weeks ago, and I for now, I just want to change the lights to clear lights. There's some on ebay for less than 5$ (corners and bumpers lights), and I was wondering if they're any different then, lets say, they Eurolight bumpers on CarDomain for 3 times the price.

While searching, there was also Cold Air Intakes for ~25$, and I'm pretty sure they're crap, no? They even have no name coilovers...

Sorry for being such a noob. If this isn't the place to ask these questions, please direct me elsewhere?

and please dont clear out all your lights....that is so early 90s.....

try and stick with the timeless oem\amber look

Welcome to HT. For you question about ebay...the quality varies by the brand the seller offers. You have to pretty much read the descriptions in order to know what ur getting. Just because the selling price is cheap, doesnt mean youre getting it really cheap. Keep in mind to check the shipping prices too. hope this helps you out. ebay stuff isnt much different, just depends on the brand and such. But dont buy things where you've never heard of the brand and always check the seller's feedback.

Most of it is as cheap quality as one can produce.

But sometimes you can find some good jdm parts or overstock parts for some sweet prices. but BEAWARE of Scammers. DO NOT wait over 30 days for ANY THING!

Thanks guys. I have been checking price/shipping; since I'm around Montreal, shipping from US stores kills. I was thinking of ordering some JDM parts also, yet there's so many of those other "no name" ones for cheap, and I just wanted to get your input. I probably will end up just buying whatever I want from stores, but I was just curious.

Thanks for the welcome!

I was ready to get pounded...

if in fact you do get clear corners buy some caulk and go around the edges just to make sure or else they will leak
