Default IACV Problems

ok I replaced my IAC valve, reset the ecu, and putthe coolant/vaccum(not sure) lines where they are supposed to go according to te manual and my car idles at 3000 rpm's. Is there anything else I was supposed to do and does it make a difference if its a b16a or a b16a3 iacv, because my IACV is from the del sol(b16a3), and my car has the b16a.

i dont think thats it, at the moment its ghetto rigged so it kinda idles. I have the IACV hooked up to the socket, and exhaust tape over the two holes on the intake.

The 1st gen b16 iacv is different from the 2nd gen. I believe the holes line up a little different.
I bet it has a vacuum leak because you only have one bolt on the iacv. I have a 1st gen b16 iacv if you need it.

I know for sure its the IACV because the old one is broken in half, I just need to find the right one at the moment.
