Montoya, Raikkonen & Barrichello,,, Your thoughts... And quit with the predictable B.S. or Not!
What a great win for Montoya!
Just when everyone counted Williams out, Montoya is fast in qualifying and was equally fast during the race. Great race for Kimi and the Mclaren, too. He was fast in qualifying also. Although he was catching Montoya during the last 10 laps in traffic, Montoya was clickingoff some quick laps, t00! I wish he could have gotten closer to make it more interesting at the end. I think Kimi is stronger when he's in a pursuit situation. I think this is a great way for these future teammates to end the season and to go into next season.
I feel so bad for Rubinho. The winner circle at the Brazilian GP eluded him again. The rain really caught Ferrari off guard during the first few laps. He was blistering fast in qualifying and he had his home crowd behind him. Did you guys see when he crossed the line to get the pole during qualifying? The roar from the Brazilian crowd gave me goosebumps!
THAT WAS ******* AWESOME!
I wanted to see the replay of it earlier this morning but I fell asleep.
That was funny when Montoya hit the bill of Rubens cap with that champagne bottle during the celebration on the podium! Of course it was on accident, but I'm sure it was adding insult to injury in Ruben's mind. His wife looked as though she had seen a ghost!
Between JPM and RB, I dunno who has the hotter wife? I thought RB's wife was beautiful but JPM's wife is a knockout!

Best/funniest moment of the race was the whole Jaguar pit crew waving "goodbye" to Klein as he left the pits after his last stop. The Jaguar group seem to be a pretty funny group overall, with the whole "Donkey Does F1" thing

Nice way to end the season with Souther Americans win and on the podium in their home race! All I cared is Honda locked up 2nd in Constructor title because I can't stand Renault.
once again ferrari strategy *** rapes RB. i dunno if he would have been able to hold JPM and KR back for the duriation of the race but unfortunately ferrari didn't even give him the opprotunity.
how aweful was JV? he was on the same strategy as FA and finished how far behind? only thing better would have been if JT finished ahead of JV. i am overjoyed at how this whole JT/JV situation has blown up in flavio's face. i think this link says it all: http://www.formula1.com/archiv....html HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!oneoneeleventeen1111
and why is it BAR never seems to be able to capitalize when ferrari ***** up??? podium after podium all season long but only only in the races, monaco excluded, when ferrari are perfect.
i'm very very intrigued by all the goings on with team principal meetings this weekend. it looks like there may be a switch to a control tyre and testing limitation next season if ferrari would just get on board. that would take away 2 huge advantages that ferrari currently has. it's a difficult situation because i can understand both sides of the story. ferrari has gained an advantage over the years and why should they expected to just give that away? on the other hand you can't deny that the sport has become way t00 expensive and that this is without a doubt the best solution for all the teams and for the future of the sport itself.
next season looks very intersting. i think the big battle will be between mclaren and BAR for 2nd in the constructors championship. my prediction:
1. ferrari
2. mclaren
3. BAR
4. Williams
5. Renault
6. through 10. who really cares?

I wouldn't really call it a control tire, since the tire manufacturers will still be producing their own tires, and each may find their own optimal solution for a tire that has to last race distance +3 laps. Plus Kumho will be tossing it's hat into the fray in a few years

i'm not talking about the 2 sets of tyres per weekend rule that has been aproved. i'm talking about this: http://www.grandprix.com/ns/ns13743.html
ewwwwwwwwww, that's not cool. they went to one tire manufacturer in world superbike which caused quite a few factory teams to leave in protest. although that doesn't seem likely in F1, you know Bridgestone and Michelin wouldn't be happy about it

***** - going to watch lants' effwon recording dis 9 or lata dis week.
Ok, enough of that.
A few questions/concerns about the changing regs:
1. I like the control tire idea. The playing field is not level with Ferrari and Bridgestone working So close together these days. This would help limit speeds, thus safety.
2. How do you regulate a 2 weekend engine? I forsee much trouble with this.
3. As lance pointed out in another convo, FIA has already been debunked with their '1 engine per weekend' slowing down the cars. They have more bhp now than 2003 - and they are having a similarly low fatality rate. So what makes them think the engineers won't be able to get a 2 weekend engine to do the same??? (forget for a minute the looming 2006 2.4L V8 Bullshit - just talking 2005 regs)
