help guys!!! my car wont start!!!

Default help guys!!! my car wont start!!!

im having trouble wit my rex. last 2 weeks, i went on the freeway. suddenly, the engine just turned off, i tried to turn it back on. but the problem is it wont start again. it was 8 am in the morning. i got it towed back durin around 2 pm in the afternoon. so it was a pretty good tanning out there. i tried everything, i changed out the distributor, the alternator, and the battery. but it still wont start. i tried to check for spark, but there's no spark. the main relay are fine. plz help me!!! give me suggestion. thanx guys. srry bout the long post

check compression on the cylinders... i would also check for leaks..

isnt that located in the distributor? but i changed the distributor already. and please show me how to do it. cus im pretty noob at these stuff

any codes? its pretty much a waste of money to start guessing and replacing parts. sparkplugs look good? how bout wires? does ur ecu light blink once when u turn the car to run? that means its good.

i have 2 spark plug wires. tried them on both. none works. ok let me try that

you didn't happen to mess with any of your grounds did you?.. CHeck ALL of your grounds, and make sure they are connected properly. You prob know this, but its worth a look.

check the ground on the stat housing.. also check and make sure your dist is turning, you might have a broken timing belt

i checked everything. and it a dx
ground wires to the ignition. it still have it. but just no spark. the timing belt, it still spins. but just no sparks

new dist, plugs / wires. and still not spark.. check your timing belt!

Did you check your coil yet or did you get a new one with the distributor, the coil is easy to check with an ohmmeter, this is how its done. Get the ohmmeter and touch the (A) terminal and the (B) terminal with the probes on the ohmmeter and look at the ohmmeter it should be between 0.3-0.5 ohms, then check the Secondary winding terminal like this, touch the (A) terminal and the (secondary winding terminal) with the ohmmeter probes it should read on the ohmmeter
9,440-14,160 ohms. Walla your done, sooner than you can read this.
