there a few s2000 turbo kits for sale, are there many running around with stock motors? 7psi on top of an s2k would be sweet if reliable.

He has a headgasket to lower compression.

I'm running 6 on mine with a stock motor.

yes I have a head gasket......inline pro 3mm.. they make awsome kits.....

 

how many compression points does the 3mm headgasket drop?

 

A 3mm headgasket will drop the compression ratio 2points. So that should give the S2000 a 9:1 compression ratio.

 

There are a couple boosted s2k's here

 

LittleHonda is right...9:1... with my set up I should be just a little under 500 whp... will find out this week..

 

there's a ton of turboed s2ks..... and umm i heard the rev hard kit sucks.. heard it's missing a lot of parts....and as for the drag kit?? umm i didn't know drag had one for the S....

we are in the process of building our owe turbo kit for the 04, i have see a few kits out there, nothing out here i like. we're going to build one with tubular manifold and gt 3037 turbo. i will post some pictures when we get it done.

 

I have the INLINE PRO Stage 2 kit...... with gt-35-61 turbo...3inch down pipe...3 inch exhaust (no cat) 1000cc injectors...255 fuel pump.... Aem Ems..Aem Wide band...Turbo Smart 35mm ultra-gate...Turbo Smart BOV...Turbo Smart Boost Controller..... Greddy turbo timer.. Clutch Master stage 4 clutch and fly wheel..GM 3 bar map sensor...InLine Pro Map defensor.. Ported and polished head..And 3mm head gasket......May be leaving out a few things... if so sorry.......

 

Good luck with your ride most boosted s2k's with the stock bottom ends dont last that long . Ive seen them all go . Not trying to hate just giving you a heads up.

 

I'm running the GT3037 right now on my 2004. It's an awesome turbo!

how's the turbo treating you?? any problems yet?? i know that shaun had problems with leaks on his... and umm.. you know i think i met you once at a small meet at barnes and noble... i was the one parked next to you in the suzuka...

 

12 lbs on basically stock internals. Has Darton sleeves and ARP head studs, that's it! Oh yeah, GT3540 turbo and 1700cc methanol squirting injectors controlled by an Autronic ECU. I love boost!
450+/- at the tires.

 

oh ok...03blues2k.. I know who you are now.... turbo is awsome... no probs at all.... EMS kicks ***... best thing ever....

 

We have a kit for the AP1. So far we have done 4 and all are still running strong but running low boost though. 7 pounds and reaches full boost at 3500 rpm.

I wonder how safe is running the 3mm headgasket from Inline kit. Its an awesome kit but how long can that headgasket last. ?? anyone know how reliable is that kit?
