Default new brake problem....

ok i got some new brembo rotors and axxis/pbr ultimate pads but they wont fit. the new rotors measure 23mm and each pad measures 18mm. the pads and rotor measure about 59-60mm. the opening from the caliper body to the boot is 49mm. did i just get sent the wrong parts or am i forgetting some special little trick?

Have you pushed the pistons back into the calipers to make room for the new thicker pads ? Here is a step by step link with pics to change your rotors and pads, print it off and have it by you when you do the replacement.

I had that issue with Brembro rotors, but it ended up being that they gave me the ones for the V tec model and they were bigger than what mines was suppose to be.

Edit: I just re-read your post, it sounds like you didn't push thee piston back.
My problem was that the diameter of the rotor was bigger and I couldn't fit the caliper back on it.
