Default I have another question

My guess is that people are tired of reading through 13 pages. So I'm posting this as a seperate topic. If I had found this iformation, then I wouldn't be posting this, and if I missed it, give me a heads-up. Thanks.

Okay, was the JDM 4-1 SS or Ceramic coated, and will that make a difference in power?

No, there is no reason why that would make a differance in power.

Gas scavenging is affected by temperature changes. As the spent, very hot exhaust leaves the cylinder head it cools rapidly as it's heat is lost to the inner walls of the header. Ceramic coatings help to keep the heat within the lumen of the primary. But they can also cook the metal of the header primary as a result (i.e. cracking). Ceramic coatings are mainly intended to reduce underhood temperatures which decreases the wear and tear on the other parts of the motor (especially with forced induction) thereby increasing "performance". Ceramic coatings will also give headers more corrosion resistance if you drive your car in the wintertime. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here....
