Default EP3 + DC5R Rims..do I need spacers or no??

From my understanding the DC5R rims are 17x7 with 60+mm offset, I believe all the usdm dc5's run a 45 offset, why such a big difference? My friends are saying I should run a 15mm spacer to get to 45 offset.. Are there any ill effects if I don't want to use a spacer and just run 60 offset? I plan on running the 225/45 Azenis..Thoughts? Oppinions?

Wow, that 60 offset doesn't sound right. Is it? I am going to be running 17x7.5 wheels on my EP3 with a +43 Offset. I would just slap the wheels on and see. If it looks funny or dosn't feel right, then get the spacers.

DC5R wheels offset is different than usdm rsx's due to brembo front brakes.

You will need spacer.
And 5 lugs swap if you have 02-03 ep3.

for the EP, it won't fit unless you have spacers. for the RSX, the rear needs the spacers the most. if the rsx is low enoguh, the wheels will not fit in the rear unless you have spacers.
