Cant tell if its a valve or not. Do I need to jack it up & what side is it on?

It should be on the bottom of the radiator in the middle. It helps to jack up the car so you can get to it and turn it.

Or you can run it real hot then pop the cap and run for your life . But I like DOHC4life's idea much better.

it's at the bottom, behind the plastic splashguard, but there should be a hole cut out of the splashguard and a white plug behind it. loosen the plug to drain, dont have to remove

you could probably do it from the top if your arms are long enough.

some will say that this is not a jacking point, but i usually jack the front up by the knub on the radiator support.

lol, I've seen it done. Not to hard, but you still have to drain it from the bottom.

I think I found it but how do I loosen? With a wrench or by hand?
