That sounds way too good to be true. Makes me: a) wonder what's wrong with it, b) want to sell my car in the next 22 hours to be able to get it (only if the answer to a is nothing)

The seller's comments below the pictures of the car says that hes selling the car for 7900 but i guarantee you he left the 1 out of 17900 because 17900 would be a legit price for that car with the mileage it has but i mean the current bid is 8200 so go for it man, looks clean to me.
if thats a good clean car and someone gets it for like 9k...
i swear to god, ill drive my car off a cliff out of pure anger, lol
my car costs me 20k like 9 months ago....
but whatever, i cant complain, my car is becomming crazier each day, i love it

I see so many things wrong with that car...
the font bumper is missing some thing- I can see enough tho.
Shift ****.
Is there CF trim on the HVAC controls?
If thats a 2001, the mirrors are wrong.
A baby seat in the back With wannabe race seats?

fellas, just run a carfax report and ask for some vehicle history documents to show the validity of its current condition. we all know how easy it is to swap instrument clusters, and so as a buyer i am always suspicious.
in my opinion, the clues are there to consider:
-brief and sketchy description
-short auction duration
-"hasty" appeal by the seller to sell
-VERY LOW PRICE that is usually reserved for branded titles
-questionable parts interchanged
if i wasnt there in the physical to touch, drive, sit and smell this car, no way would i send $10K...its too much of a gamble/risk. the old saying has some credence "if it sounds too good to be true...."

This may be similar to an experience I had with something on ebay. i was looking at a 2000 24' Baja boat. I emailed the seller and he said that he'd sell it for $27,900. It was worth $35K. I told him I'd buy it, give me your phone number to call and work out the details. he was in MI, which was about 15 hours from me and I was ready to get in the truck to go get it. That did'nt happen quick enough so I bid on it and won the auction for $27,100. he still would'nt give me his phone number. turns out, after a few hours of emailing back and forth, he tells me hes a scammer. This guy was using someone else's username, and it was a fake auction. He wanted me to send him (before I realized what was going on) a deposit through moneygram or Western Union. NO PAYPAL. That threw a red flag. When he would'nt give me his phone number after asking several times, I realized what was going on. In the end, he wanted me to be his contact in the states. He claims to operate out of Hawaii. This ******* wanted me to let people send deposits or cashier's checks to my address, then send him the amount minus 5%, which would be my cut.
Anything that expensive on ebay that requires deposit, either do it through Paypal (which you can still be screwed on anyway), or get a phone number and talk to the people first. This auction for the ITR is probably fake. And ebay won't do a thing about it.

its missing the plastic insert behind the front bumper..... you know its got like a black horizontal plastic piece that goes down the middle of the opening in the bumper cant think of what it would be called.
so that right there knocked the price down 4k

keep us posted on this. Do not send money to this guy without seeing it first. If it is a scam like the one I posted earlier, every bidder prolly got the same email.
