Default Help car wont start!

Ok here is what is going on. a few days ago after work i got in my car and turned the key over and my car did not start. after a few times turning it i looked around to see if i had left a light on or anything. nothing was left on so i turned it one more time and it started perfect. WTF.
then for about a week it ran perfect starting everytime till yesterday. car just wouldnt start. i kept turning and finally gave up and push started my car. next time i turned it off it started right up and the next 3 times it worked great. then it did it again last night it didnt start the first few times i tried but then it started right up.
Now its in my garage and i have been looking for any loose connections and i cant see any. i have also looked at the main relay and it all is connected fine. i do have a turbo timer in there but i dont see how that is the problem it has been there for over a year.
sounds the car makes are the fuel pump turns on. all electrical still works. no clicking except one small click when i turn it over, but not repetitive like when battery is dead.
please help. i have searched and there are a few problems similar to this but they arent helping me.

I know it sounds simple but have you checked your battery terminal connections? I had a problem very similar to this earlier this past summer and it was just a positive ring clamp that would jostle loose every once in a while.

I like to think that some problems still have simple solutions . Good luck.

Are you making sure the clutch is pushed in?

j/k

I dunno man...is your starter clicking? Or do you just turn the key and hear nothing?

well hte first thime i thought that maybe it didnt start becasue of the clutch but i know i am pushing it in now.
i hear all the normal things when i turn the key over all except the car starting. no extra clicks like battery is dead or anything!

If all you hear is one click, check for power to the starter. If you get power there, then your starter solenoid is bad. Replace the starter. If you don't get power there when cranking, see if you are getting power at your ignition switch at the blk/wht wire when cranking.

If there is no power there, then you may have a bad ignition switch.

Most likey you have a bad starter solenoid. Good luck.
