As crx owners we are all plagued with very similar problems. We all share the infamous leak, the disposable distributor syndrome, as well as other nuisances. And it seems that for the most part most of us know how to deal with the problems. But I’ve noticed recently that not many people are very knowledgeable with one of the most common crx problems, THE AGED SUNROOF! After all, the youngest crx is at least 13 years old and so are the sunroofs on them. So what can you do about that old sun roof?

Personally I’ve been looking for a glass panel, if any exist! But I don’t know much about my other options or what I need to do in order to install a glass sunroof.

So, I'm asking the age old question. What are my options for my sun roof? Like every one else in the world I wish I could get my hands on a glass moon roof for my crx si, but it seems almost impossible. Soooo.... WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS? Are there aftermarket sunroofs I can install on the rex? How much does it usually cost to get a new one from Honda or installed at a custom shop? What’s the deal with the plugs? Do they work? And finally, is it possible to switch the si sunroof for a moon roof, and does this require a new sunroof assembly or can the old one be used?

Knowledge is power! Any information, new ideas, theories, etc would be greatly appreciated. Let’s try to solve this issue and give our entire community more power!
