The 94 GSR shell I bought for my mid-engine conversion project has much more damage to the front half of the right side quarter panel than I realized. There is a hole torn in it just behind the door jam that was repaired by just globbing bondo over the hole. Since I'm flaring the quarters anyway, it's no extra work to replace just the front half of the quarter. I realize this is a "needle in a haystack" request, but I thought I'd give it a try as a new quarter panel is quite expensive.

Here's a pic of the quarter. You can see where some of the bondo has been ground away. You can also see the verticle cut through the wheel well center and horizontal cut along the top bead for flaring. The spot welds in the wheel well have been drilled out and there is another horizontal cut under the bottom of the quarter where it fastens to the rocker panel.

Here's a pic of the section of quarter panel I need to replace with all the bondo ground off. There was a hole torn in the panel where the rectangular hole is now. I'll repair it if I have to, but it's in pretty bad shape.

actually I was hit in the front half of the panel

 

I need a left side quarter panel for the right side... My car just went thru alot of hail damage. =O And the bodyshop guy wants an arm-leg-and a maxxed out credit card to repair the damage. Figured it might be cheaper to find a used one and just primer it.

 

I have a left but still looking for a right.
