All three of those exhausts are pretty small for a turbo application, Comptech's being the smallest at 2.25". Look into either a custom exhaust at least 2.5" or the Thermal turbo exhaust.

i agree. all 3 are great exhausts for NA, but for a turbo setup, they won't work very well. the thermal 3" catback has gotten rave reviews, do a little research on it.

thanks for all the replies. But my concern is that i live in the part where

there aren't a lot of modified cars, so cops pull over whoever has

the loud exhaust. Luckly, i ddin't get pulled over yet, but

you guys get the point.

How about a custom piping with ES oval? or smsp exhaust? i heard that smsp

is pretty quiet and has 2.5 piping. any more suggestions??

Your exhaust will not be as loud as you think. The turbo will quiet it down considerably.

I have a brand new Kteller slip-fit 2.5" exhaust with a 14" resonator and Magnaflow muffler for sale if your interested.

since your going turbo, don't get any of those systems you listed in the poll (i have a ws and love it, but it does not flow enough for a turbo settup). I'd go to http://www.kteller.com and get the custom 2.5" piping and the black es oval muffler... that should keep cops off your ***, and it won't really be too loud.

not really...just get the es oval style muffler from kteller along with 1 resonator....this combo with a turbo won't be loud at all...

Apexi will gib you more flow but it is kind of on the loud side..But your turbo get use to it..=p...greddy came out with a new titanium...i'm not sure how that sounds.. but i assume it's loud too.

My WS is still going strong after 2 years through roadsalt and such. I'm happy with mine. I've heard many stories of the GReddy (SP in particular) and Comptech rusting out sooner than expected...but that's what I've read while on H-T. If I had a choice, I'd get the Comptech Sport simply because it's more subtle looking...just a little on the expensive side.

I would not recommend any of those if you are going turbo. They will simply ROB you blind of power.

I highly suggest you go with a 2.5-3 inch exhaust depending on your turbo setup.

I have the Apex WS. It's the quietest. I ran both the Apex WS and the Greddy SP at a drag strip and times were the same. I ended up using the WS cuz it's way quieter.

I just read about 100 pages about the Apexi WS and every single post said that it is a lot quieter than everything else, so please tell me where you get this from

Apexi WS will NOT give you better flow compared to the greddy sp. The Sp is straight through vs the baffled muffler of the apexiWS.

WS is more quiet, less flow. SP is louder, more flow.

End of question.

My local shop swears by the greddy sp2 for stealth exhausts that produce hp gains. I decided against it b/c most of the reviews I've seen say you lose some low end with the sp2, while the ws2 appears to provide comparable hp gains with no loss down low.

Regardless, none of these IMO are designed for forced induction.

Losing low end is applicable when you are talking about a free flowing exhaust. You loose the low end to gain top end

True . . . but when your low end is already sucking great big donkey ***** it doesn't make sense to sacrifice it for a few more ponies up top.

It is worth it if your doing any kind of racing. Low end is only for daily driving.

Which means that the WS is one of the most ideal daily driving suited exhausts on the market today with its quiet tone and good power response.

i hated my greddy sp.

the resonator always scraped over speed bumps and parking garages and the front part of the resonator got dented and rusted through after a year. so I had a new resonator welded in. the next year, a baffle in the muffler fell apart.

If you are looking for a quieter exhaust to blend in and to avoid getting pulled over, you might want to look at something that looks a bit more stock... like the RSR exmag or a oem ITR muffler with bigger piping if you need it.

*edit. crap, I just noticed you are running turbo.

you hated the exhaust because it scraped or were there other reasons?

poor clearance.
resonator rusted out.
muffler fell apart.
it lasted me only 2 years.

the clearance isn't entirely greddy's fault, neither is it rusting out after scraping. if you ajust the hangers (rubber and/or metal if necessary), it won't hang so low. the baffle in the muffler falling apart however, is definitely a quality issue. i read once before of that happening to someone.

I have a turbo GS-R and have the Tanabe Racing Medallion. It isn't that loud with the turbo. You actually hear the turbo spool over the engine. If you are going to use it as a daily driver and use lower boost levels this exhaus should flow well.
